Prerequisites

Participants are expected to be familiar with the content covered in the basic course and to review this material as individual preparation for the training. Practical experience with IDA ICE in real projects is recommended. No programming experience is required.

  In this lesson, you will learn the fundamentals of scripting in IDA ICE and discover a wide range of useful scripts tailored to streamline your modeling workflow. From automating repetitive tasks to applying custom configurations across your model, scripting can significantly boost your productivity.

  We will demonstrate how to develop your own scripts with minimal effort – even without advanced programming skills. You’ll also learn how to use tools like the Diff Function and Version Manager to generate script ideas and track changes efficiently.

  Whether you want to add floor heating to all zones, adjust ventilation settings across multiple variants, or standardize control strategies – scripting opens the door to powerful customization and automation.
