IDA ICE Basic course

!! The second day of the course has changed to 1^st of April !!

The course aims to provide basic knowledge of IDA ICE that, after the course, you will be able to work independently with the most important functions of the program. During the course, we will go through three types of simulation: comfort, design powers and energy simulation. We will also briefly introduce the daylight simulation. Through guided exercises, you will get to know:

• Building geometry, both simplified and more advanced, including roof editing
• Different import types – DWG, SketchUp, images and IFC
• Construction definition
• Windows, sun protection and shading from surrounding buildings
• Ventilation and air leakage
• Cold bridges and ground conditions
• Design powers, comfort and energy simulations
• Result presentations and analysis
