IDA ICE CFD Course – Training

In this live whole-day training (divided into 2 half-day parts), you will get a practical introduction and training to run CFD calculations in IDA ICE, intermediate level. Speakers of the event are Mika Vuolle, Viktoria Nadas and Niklas Wikström (Equa Sweden, online).

The lessons include:

- CFD background. You are going to learn why a CFD calculation should be run, with applicable examples. You will also learn about different tools and usual mistakes in modeling.

- CFD modeling of the lecture room of the event. You will model the room with addition of objects and internal loads and you will transfer simulation results within the software tabs. 
- Calculations and result presentations. After the simulation finishes, we will go through the results and discuss how it affects to additional room design. 

 A 3-month trial license of the full Expert version is included in the course!

Prerequisites: Basic level of IDA ICE
