IDA ICE 5: The building as a PV power station

In the new energy landscape, most buildings will act as “prosumers”, i.e., trade energy based on local generation and storage. IDA ICE 5 features state-of-the-art models for building-integrated photovoltaic systems with batteries. A new reporting framework based on EN ISO 52000-1 provides overview and performance metrics for flows of electricity, fuel, and heat in terms of CO₂, cost, renewable- as well as non-renewable primary energy.
